About Us:
Welcome to MM Karaoke, Sydney’s premier space-themed karaoke bar, located in the heart of Haymarket. We’re not your average karaoke joint; we’re a cosmic experience. With 13 luxurious, private karaoke rooms, including five equipped with Japan’s top-notch DAM system, our venue offers an otherworldly experience where guests can sing their hearts out in a futuristic, dream-like setting. As Sydney’s most recently renovated and best-decorated KTV, we set ourselves apart with stellar service, high-quality food and drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back for more.
The Role:
We’re on the lookout for passionate and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Attendants to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. Your mission? To deliver an unforgettable experience to our guests by ensuring top-tier service, whether you’re serving drinks, delivering delicious snacks, or maintaining the clean, cosmic environment we’re known for. You’ll be the face of MM Karaoke, ensuring every customer feels like a star in our galaxy.
What You’ll Do:
• Serve food and beverages with a smile, ensuring guests enjoy their visit.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining the cleanliness of karaoke rooms.
• Provide personalized recommendations for food, drinks, and karaoke tracks.
• Handle transactions and manage guest tabs efficiently.
• Maintain the overall vibe of the venue, contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in a hospitality or similar role, preferably with KTV or entertainment venues.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Valid visa and eligibility to work unrestricted hours in Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
• A passion for great service and a positive attitude.
