The company:
A prominent not-for-profit organisation is seeking an Accounts Officer to join its finance team to help with a period of increased workload. The office is located at the Circular Quay end of the CBD and is easily accessible by public transport. This is a very good opportunity for someone to experience the vibe of working in a unique environment within no-for-profit sector and develop skills for future accounting roles.
Job title: Accounts Officer (part time)
Term: 3 days per week, 3 months fixed term (4/11/2024-31/1/2025)
Salary: 58,000 per year + super (pro-rata)
Job duties: A/P, A/R, daily bank reconciliation, archiving, journals, assisting with reporting, ad hoc
Who this role will suit:
1. Someone with basic accounting knowledge and skills and would like to develop further.
2. A team player who has attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
3. Someone with experience in similar roles. Experience with MYOB is preferable but not a must
4. Some with a valid working visa. PR is not required.
